The Lost Symbol

Dan Brown's much awaited new book 'The Lost Symbol' was released on September 15, 2009. It is a thriller set in Washington D.C. , after the events of his previous book 'Da Vinci Code'. The story's main focus is on Freemasonry.
This is Brown's third novel involving the character of Harvard University symbologist Robert Langdon, following 'Angels and Demons' (2000) and 'Da Vinci Code'(2003).
It had a first priniting of 6.5 million and on the first day the book sold a million in hardcover and e-book versions in the U.K., the U.S. and Canada making it the fastest selling adult novel in history. Since its release it remains at the top of The New York Times best seller list for hardcover fiction.
